Frances Barreto is the Director of Curriculum and Instruction, K-12 for UCP of Central Florida. She is an experienced educator and school leader with a passion for curriculum and instruction. Ms. Barreto’s vision for UCP of Central Florida is to collaboratively cultivate a climate of continuous learning by sharing leadership and taking time to reflect and recognize accomplishments of students and staff. Her priority is to focus on student success through academic achievement, as well as, personal growth and social-emotional well-being for all students. Schools are a place for students to explore their natural curiosity, engage in rich discussions, and develop critical and creative thinking skills. It is important to build the collective capacity of our schools through communication and collaboration with students, teachers, and parents.
Ms. Barreto received her Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Texas Christian University. She earned her undergraduate degree from Salisbury University in Spanish Literature, with a Minor in English.
