MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL
UCP’s Transitional Learning Academy is a tuition-free middle & high school geared toward teens & young adults with IEPs. TLA practices a holistic approach among teachers, therapists, administration & other support team members to ensure that each student fulfills their potential.
UCP of Central Florida’s Transitional Learning Academy (TLA) is a program designed specifically for adolescents and young adults with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). We built this program to help these students achieve their middle and high school education in an accepting culture, at a campus designed to support their accessibility needs.
Our TLA staff is trained to provide individualized attention and support through a holistic and an interdisciplinary team approach.
TLA currently offers two distinct diploma tracks.
The Standard Diploma track
The Standard Diploma for students with disabilities, which utilizes Florida Access Points as their curriculum.
