Director of Behavior Services

April is the Director of Behavior Services for UCP Charter Schools, East Orange Private Academy, and UCP's Unlocking Positive Behavior ABA Clinic. April has worked with children and young adults ranging from 18 months to 25 years, with research interests that include stimulus–stimulus pairing and response interruption and redirection. Additionally, she supervises student BCBAs from the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT), the University of Central Florida (UCF), and various online universities, guiding them in evidence-based strategies that promote meaningful behavioral progress.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in ESE K-12 Education, Saint Leo University
Mater's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Florida Institute of Technology (FIT)
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee behavioral support provided to students under their IEP and BIP in our Charter Schools.
Manage all behavior training provided to Charter, Private, and ABA clinic staff.
Oversee operations for East Orange Private Academy and ABA Clinic.
Manage the Outside Care Provider program.
Supervise and train student BCBAs working within UCP and attending FIT, UCF, and various online universities.
