Danielle Waters is the Speech Therapy Clinical Advisor at UCP! She is the best person if you think you have a student in need of assistive technology (e.g. AAC device, core boards, communication books, adaptive handwriting tools, etc.), or if you have any questions regarding our speech-language program.
Danielle is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence with ASHA. Danielle fell in love with the world of Augmented Alternative Communication (AAC) early on in her career and enjoys investing her efforts in helping children “find their voice.”
WHY DANIELLE LOVES UCP
You may often find her at your campus with her big bag of devices!
Danielle said the following when asked about UCP, “I love being a part of UCP! One of my favorite things is to see the growth of all our children throughout the years. At UCP we have the opportunity to provide collaborative, inclusive therapies, and a variety of specialized services to our children to best meet their needs.” She continued, “UCP believes in the children it serves and believes in giving them a voice, whether it be through providing skilled speech and language therapy, a communication device, or daily collaborations within our classrooms. UCP truly believes and supports the mission to empower all the children we serve!”
